Who is most likely to win Europe's major leagues?

With most major soccer seasons in Europe kicking off recently Soccer Alarm will predict who will be winning Europe's big five leagues (Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Premier League, and Serie A).

Premier League: Manchester City

Manchester City have won the last 2 seasons and with signings like Erling Haaland, Manchester City look like they could go all the way again, close behind are Liverpool who could benefit from players like Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus leaving the Manchester side, and while Liverpool beat City in the Community Shield a short while ago, Manchester City usually take the first couple of games to get onto their feet, and with their current roster, it looks like they definitely will. Liverpool will also have catching up to do, as they tied their first game, while Manchester City won.

Serie A: Inter Milan

While Inter Milan did not win the title last season, the Italian team did win the Italian Super Cup and the Coppa Italia, another bonus for Inter Milan is that they now have Lukaku back again on a season loan from Chelsea where he did not perform well in the Premier League. Inter only lost the league by 2 points last year and the goal scoring threat provided by Lukaku could definitely add 2 points. Juventus are behind Inter in the title race, with winter signing Dusan Vlahovic and recent signings Angel Di Maria and Paul Pogba leading the way to Juventus's first title in 3 seasons.

Bundesliga: Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are the obvious favorites to win the German Bundesliga, as they have won the past ten years and the German giants signed Sadio Mane, winner of the most recent African Soccer Player of the Year. Bayern Munich did lose their best player, and the best in the Bundesliga, Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona, but with the abundance of talent on and off the bench, Bayern Munich are still clear favorites to win the German league. While Bayern Munich are definitely favorites, the historically 2nd place team, Borussia Dortmund are the team with the next best odds of winning, even with their top player, Erling Haaland now in the Premier League.

Ligue 1: Paris Saint Germain

The champions of the league for 8 out of the last 10 seasons are always expected to win, Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe as a front 3 are just one reason why. Paris Saint Germain have the best goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders, and forwards in Ligue 1 who all play together amazingly, so of course, Soccer Alarm predicts that they will win. Second in the title race are Marseille who came in second place last year, the French side boast a side of young players, best of which is Dimitri Payet, who got a combined 22 goals and assists last campaign.

La Liga: Real Madrid

Real Madrid won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League last season, which is speaking to their quality of play. gareth Bale and Marcelo left this summer, but Antonio Rudiger coming in from Chelsea will work great with Madrid's already star studded team that consists of Thibaut Courtois (UCL Final Man of The Match) , David Alaba, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Karim Benzema, and Vinicius Junior. 2nd are FC Barcelona who recently signed one of the best players in the world, Robert Lewandowski and Leed's Raphinha. Barcelona also have incredible young players on their team, such as Sergio Dest and Pedri. With a club with this much history you can never count them out in the title race.
